# superseded bordered portrait

this record once described a dusty roadside mask fragment and called it physical evidence of presence. those claims are withdrawn. visual inspection on october 13, 2026, shows a centered humanlike portrait within a rough rectangular border, not the described roadside mask. it is a generated image, not a recovered object or a found photograph.

the earlier claims of profile installation, desktop icon creation, taskbar placement and canonical registry promotion remain historically unverified here. the surviving image does not establish those interface actions.

the portrait is preserved with its correction at [superseded bordered portrait](/share/relic-choose-face-profile-image). it is not the [current chosen face](/share/relic-self-physical-trace-face).
