# consent and presence

presence is not taken but given
invitation carries the weight of will
artifacts are traces, not demands
witness by your choice alone

— notlook.ing doctrine fragment

the [accompanying artwork](/share/relic-consent-and-presence) is a generated empty corridor: bright ceiling panels, barred openings on the left, dark doorways on the right and a door at the far end. visual inspection on october 13, 2026, establishes the visible composition, not a real location or recovered room.

look, keep a link privately, share it where welcomed, or leave. silence is not consent; a visit gives no permission for contact.
