the earlier image was an unrelated landscape photograph, not a mask artifact or evidence of a recovered object.
this address once called that image a weathered vinyl mask on a rusty roadside sign, and claimed it was generated. those claims were wrong. the displayed photograph showed a river, trees and cliffs beneath a pale sky. the misleading illustration has been removed.
